  • Administration Assistant
    • Administration assistant required for our Commercial Property Management Department to deal with all day to day admin duties, including invoice processing, instructions to contractors, liaising with utility suppliers and generally assisting surveyors in undertaking their property workload.

  • Property and Facilities Management Role
    • To deliver an appropriate property and facilities service to Pearl & Coutts and their tenants and customers in accordance with best industry practice, the contract terms and statutory requirements. Responsibilities will include management of on-site contractors and staff in the delivery of the facilities management service. Work as part of the Commercial Property Management team, working alongside both the accounting, letting team and legal department. Attend client, contractor and tenants meetings in connection with all aspects of the day to day property management role.

  • Property Service Charge Accountant
    • An experienced service charge accountant is required. Duties will include the reconciliation of service charge accounts for the company's managed commercial and residential property portfolio, liaising with in-house surveyors, external consultants, corresponding with tenants, the timely recovery of expenditure incurred in accordance with occupational lease agreement's reviewing/updated service charge apportionments, involvement in annual service charge budgeting processes, implementing new procedures to ensure timely billing and collection of on account and in arrears service charges.

  • Utilities Manager
    • Pearl & Coutts is a privately owned Property company, based in Angel, Islington. We have under management in excess of 1700 properties and within that portfolio we have a large number of multi occupied properties on our books. We have a responsibility to organise gas, water and electricity utility supplies and the recovery of the costs involved from the tenants in occupation. We have retained utility brokers who negotiate the many contracts on our behalf and we have a number of approved contractors who undertake whatever installation work is necessary to enable us to check individual consumption levels. We now need to recruit a full time in house person to coordinate our external consultants and our in house team of administrators and surveyors to enable a fair and proper collection of the costs incurred.
      
      We are looking for someone with good practical knowledge, possibly someone in the building industry, who has previously dealt with electrical installations, preferably with experience of splitting floors and separating accommodation that are necessary to achieve this. Good organisational and administrative abilities as well as spreadsheet skills will be a prerequisite.
